Ace & Winston - the Miniature Schnauzer Bonded Pair - at NJ Schnauzer Rescue Network

Are you interested in long walks, silly playfulness, super snuggles, brushing and giving belly rubs? If so, we may have the match for you times two!

Winston and Ace are almost 2 years old, 24 lbs each, and quite the characters. Are you ready for two dogs on your lap? Open your arms and hug their squishy heads together. They are okay with being held belly up. They love towel rub downs and are known to flip their beds and blankets to get underneath and snuffle around.

They love being part of the action and are eager to please. They are learning some basic commands and walk nicely on harnesses. If they aren't walked or exercised enough, they will get bored and have gotten a little destructive, like picking the fluff out of a bed or shredding a box or paper. They shrink if scolded in the slightest.

They get along great with the foster home’s 2 female MS but are aggressive toward their 14 year old male mix. We don’t know if it’s age, gender or what. They haven't shown any aggression towards people.

They run, play, wrestle and even share food dishes and bones with the girls and each other.

Behavior around cats and young children are unknown.
I've never seen two dogs that are so totally okay with being next to each other, whether snuggling on the couch or eating from the same dish.

We are looking at an active home, but no small children, with a fenced yard.

Ace & Winston are Friendly, Affectionate, Playful, & Funny

Prior to placement, all dogs are spayed/neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs also receive a dental cleaning, if needed, and are bathed/groomed before adoption.
