Chip the Dutch Shepherd & Chihuahua Mix at Big Dog Rescue Project

Meet the very adorable, very charming Chip!

Chip is a happy-go-lucky boy with a fun energy and personality that is infectious. He is about 1 year old and 20 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and perform for his humans. He is smart, eager to learn and listens well - he already knows some commands and with continued training, the sky is the limit for this little guy. Chip is great on leash and enjoys walks. He is very dog friendly, but unfortunately didn’t pass his kitty test. He is traveling to New Jersey at the end of this week and is hoping to have a family waiting for him!

How adorable is our little Chip?! He arrived in New Jersey last Saturday and has settled in like a champ 🤎His foster mom sent us a glowing update on our boy -

“Chip has settled wonderfully! After only being here for a short amount of time, it’s clear that this happy, laid-back pup is a definite catch! He does well with humans and dogs of all ages, and loves absolutely everyone. He will cuddle with his humans on the couch, but he’s also perfectly content lounging in his dog bed and taking a snooze. Chip is definitely not an alpha dog and has the perfect amount of energy for any household. We’re confident he’d do fine as an only pet or as part of a pack! If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate boy, then this is your guy!” Chip is about 1 year old and weighs only 20 lbs. He is fully vetted and move in ready!
