Lighty at Beacon Animal Rescue

Beacon Animal Rescue’s mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving homes for cats and dogs; to educate the community about responsible treatment of companion animals; and to promote the practice of spaying and neutering in a no-kill environment. All our dogs come spayed/ neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and medical records, along with a free wellness exam from our veterinary clinic within 30 days of adoption.

Lighty is aptly named, for this dog has a great spark! Often paired with Tucker, this one year old loves to bounce around the yard, chasing balls (or her own tail) and is always on the lookout for treats! While she is tiny, she is mighty, and can keep up with Tucker well when playing together in the yard. Lighty loves to meet new people, other pups, and can be cat tested upon request!

If you have any dogs in the household already, we require a meet and greet between the pups to make sure they will get along! All dogs can be cat tested upon request as well, unless the dog has already been tested, which will be marked on their profile.
