Mellow the Terrier Mix at FOWA Rescue

Mellow is a sweet boy who loves belly rubs and being brushed but by far his favorite thing is playing tug with plush toys and pull ropes. He is a 4-year-old, 27 lb., terrier mix.

Mellow seems to like every person he meets. He’s good on a leash and loves taking walks. He does need a secure fenced in yard where he can run zoomies in a safe place each day. He is a fairly high energy boy but loves to curl up in the evening with a bone and be your buddy snoozing.

Mellow loves his treat filled puzzle toys and is a wiz at figuring them out. He is highly motivated by treats and is smart and learns quickly. He already knows how to sit, and how to wait for his dinner. Being a terrier, he has a high prey drive and his forever home should probably have experienced adults who are committed to continued training and with no kids under 10.

Mellow is house trained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
