Meet our little princess, Nadzia! Nadzia is 45% Siberian Husky, 44 % American Eskimo Dog & 11% Toy Fox Terrier! Or as we like to call her a Foxy Huskimo!! She is currently 17 pounds & is estimated to be 35-40 pounds full grown. She started off pure white but now has beautiful markings down her back & tail.
Nadzia was born 10-19-23 and entered rescue the first week of January. We believe she was a Christmas present that didn’t work out and was given to a friend who gave her to rescue. Puppies are not for the faint of heart! They require a lot of time and patience and Nadzia will only be placed in a home that understands that. She is currently in a foster home with 3 large male dogs and a dog savvy cat and is holding her own with the big boys and knows to keep a distance from the cat. She is very curious and a little bossy and although she looks cute and cuddly, she is not a lap dog. She is a compact ball of energy and needs lots of activity or will become bored and destructive. She loves her stuffed toys and is pretty good at fetch.
We will only place her in a home with another dog, a fenced yard and breed experience. Huskies are notorious escape artists so adopter must be proactive in this regard. She’ll require some training, regular grooming and lots and lots of exercise or she’ll dig, dig, dig. She also loves water a little too much and just might surprise you in the shower.
She’s pretty good in her crate but housebreaking could be going better so patience required there. She is currently up to date with all her vaccines and healthy, she is scheduled for her spay in 2 weeks.
Applicants must live within 60 min of Hamilton, NJ to be considered. A vet check will be conducted for each application and a solid vet history for current and past pets will be verified. All current animals in the home must be up to date on vaccinations prior to the vet reference check.
