Skylar the Hound & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix at Rescue Ridge

Beautiful Skylar is looking for her furever home. Skylar is an under 2-year-old Hound Pittie mix. Skylar is a sweet and affectionate girl. Skylar would be best in an experienced dog home. We don't know how she is with children so no children, please. She would prefer to be the only princess in the home so no other animals. Skylar is a little shy upon first meeting but warms up pretty quickly. Skylar is looking to be someone's best friend. She walks nicely on a leash. Loves the belly rubs. Skylar: sadly, one of our longest residents. She sits in her kennel day after day wondering why she has earned this pitiful distinction. Won’t you please open your heart and home to this 2 year old, well- behaved, quiet, gentle girl? She is a little shy when she first meets you. Maybe that’s why she is still with us. She warms up quickly if you give her a chance. Skylar is best as your only pet. Best in an adult home or one with older kids.
