Sparky the Silky Terrier at NJSH Pet Rescue

Notes from the March 10th, 2024 NJSH Pet Rescue Facebook Post for Sparky:

Sparky is awaiting his dental and will soon be ready to find a home of his own!!

We were so proud of him because he was so well behaved for his vet visit!! Sparky does have limited vision but it doesn’t stop him from getting around. He is in good health otherwise and will be a great companion for someone.

Sparky is looking for a lap to cuddle on- he enjoys his toys and a walk too!! Sparky is fine with other dogs but would be ok as your one and only too!! He is about 9 years old and an adorable silky terrier. Sparky is a petite 11 pounds!

Please consider giving this little guy a family of his own.

Sparky was surrendered to the shelter when his owner said she was moving and could not take. While in foster we have found him to be house-trained, crate trained and leash-trained. He is between 8 and 9 years old and 11 pounds. Sparky is good with both dogs and cats. Older considerate kids only at this time.

Sparky is a nice little dog who enjoys squeaky toys and finding a nice lap to cuddle on. He will be getting a full work up at our veterinarian, and will likely need a dental which we will do. We aren’t certain how well Sparky sees but we will address that as well.
