Uno the Pointer/Beagle Mix at NJSH Pet Rescue

Uno is a Pointer/Beagle mix about 3 yrs old and 34 pounds. He is a happy, playful dog who likes other dogs, cats and kids. Uno has been gentle and happy when meeting all people. He is treat-motivated and will be a lovely family pet. Uno is great on leash, house and crate trained.

A perfect home for Uno would be one with another dog or the ability to see one or more on a consistent basis. A fenced in yard would be a plus.

Uno is a once in a million dog!!

Uno is that dog - good with cats, dogs and kids!!! He is the perfect family dog. We have recommended him over and over but for some reason he hasn’t found home just yet. He is too big - too small - he is a male etc etc.
We know Uno will find his family because he is exceptional. We hope to find Uno a home with a fenced yard as he enjoys it so much!! Another dog would be a plus but he will do well as an only dog too!!

Uno is 3 years old, UTD , leash, house and crate trained!!

Meet UNO !!

UNO is waiting to find a loving home of his own - he is good with cats, dogs and kids too!!

He has it all - he is crate, house and leashed trained.

Uno is playful and fun at 3 years old but also knows how to relax. He is a hound who likes to sniff and explore so he enjoys his walks.

Please consider giving this very special boy a home of his own!

Uno is good with dogs, cats and kids!! He is also house and crate trained. At 3 years old he is still playful and fun but without the work of a puppy.

UNO has been doing very well in his foster home and is waiting patiently to find a home of his own.

Perfect in every way !!

In rescue we say this is like winning the lottery - good with other dogs, cats and kids.

UNO has it all and is just waiting to find a family of his own!!

January 21, 2024:

Uno is a sweet and gentle 3 year old beagle/American foxhound mix. He is great with both cats and dogs !! He has not been kid tested yet but has shown a gentle, happy attitude when meeting all people!!

January 20, 2024:

Uno has stolen everyone’s hearts. He left North Carolina early this morning and has impressed everyone who has met him. He was recently neutered so he has to travel with the cone but that hasn’t stopped him from getting lots of hugs and pets on his trip.

We thank all those who participated today to get Uno to us in Chester!!

Uno is 3 years old and only 31 pounds. We think he is a beagle/ American Foxhound mix.
His foster in NC said that he greets all people in a friendly way and was good with both cats and dogs.

Handsome Uno is looking for a home of his own. He and his brother were surrendered to the shelter when their owner said she was too ill to care for them.

His brother was rescued by another rescue and we took Uno. Both boys are safe with rescue and ready to find homes of their own.

UNO is 3 years old and playful and happy!! He is great with dogs but has not been cat or kid tested just yet. UNO is a very smart boy - food motivated and easy going. He is only 31 pounds so not too big - not too small - he is just right!!!!

*NOTE*
Uno gets along well with other dogs and is staying in a foster home with another adoptable pup from NJSH Pet Rescue named Cappuccino.
